About Me
Dear Reader,
Allow me to introduce myself briefly. My name is Saimir Kumrija. I am a qualified lawyer in Albania, and since July 2022, I have held Registered Foreign Lawyer (RFL) status in the United Kingdom.
I work within the Immigration Department at Bowden Jones Solicitors, where I support the structured preparation and coordinated progression of immigration matters as part of the firm’s internal case management framework.
My role involves working closely with the firm’s solicitors and regulated legal professionals in the preparation, organisation, and procedural coordination of immigration cases. I contribute to the management of departmental workflow, the structured preparation of documentation, and the internal coordination required to ensure that cases progress efficiently within the firm’s supervised and regulated environment.
I am involved in matters across a broad range of immigration areas, including business immigration, family and private life applications, British nationality, protection claims, detention, bail matters, and appeals.
Being fluent in Albanian, English, and Italian enables me to assist clients with cross-border connections between the United Kingdom, Albania, and Italy, particularly where cases involve international personal or business interests.
I hold a Master’s degree in Legal Sciences from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (2015).

UK Immigration - I support matters across a wide range of immigration routes, including Skilled Worker, Family routes, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), Naturalisation, Student visas, and Global Business Mobility routes.

Case and Procedure Management: I assist with case preparation and procedural coordination, including documentation, online applications, and case deadlines.

Sponsor Licence & Compliance: I support work related to Sponsor Licence processes, including SMS management, Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), right-to-work checks, and compliance-related matters.

Team Coordination & Client Communication: I contribute to the organisation of case workflow within the immigration team and assist with client communication in English, Albanian, and Italian.

Relocation & Settlement in Albania: I also assist foreign individuals and companies with legal and administrative processes related to relocation, investment, and establishment in Albania.

My professional experience has been closely connected to immigration case coordination and legal case management.
I currently work as a Registered Foreign Lawyer at Bowden Jones Solicitors. Previously, I held the position of Registered Foreign Lawyer at Optimus Law, and earlier roles included Registered Foreign Lawyer Sperrin Law and Registered Foreign Lawyer at Lexmark Legal.
Alongside my work in legal practice, I am also the Co-Founder and Director of Vivere in Albania, initiatives focused on supporting international clients with cross-border legal and administrative matters.
